Meet the team!

Here at Impstone's we have a dedicated and caring team to guide your child(ren) through the first part of their learning journey.

All the team members are Paediatric First Aid qualified (which includes Epilepsy and Epipen Training) and have Safeguarding Level 3.

Lead Safeguarding Officer (LV 4)

Hi, I'm Amanda and I've been working at Impstone's since February 2008 and have been the Manager since December 2012.

I have lived in Tadley for most of my life and am married with 2 children who are now at secondary school!!  They both attended Impstone's, which is how I began working here:)

I have a great passion for educating children and feel this early stage of their development plays a vital role in how they will grow throughout their school life and then on in to adulthood.

I look forward to working with your child(ren) and your family to help you with the transition of separation and then on to 'big school' life!!

Health & Safety Officer - Hygiene

Parent Liaison Officer

Equality & Diversity Officer

Hello, I am Emma. I am a mother of 3 girls and they have all attended Impstone Pre-school.

I am bubbly, happy and really enjoy working as part of a team.

I have been working at Impstone since 2013 and thoroughly love it!!!

My journey started though when I became Chair of the Parent Committee in 2010, standing down only to join the staffing team!

I love spending time with my family and friends and having fun in whatever I am doing!

I can’t wait to work with your child(ren) and family to help them get the best start in their education and social skills and ease them in to ‘big school’ and the big wide world!

Hi, my name is Katie, I started working for Impstone at the beginning of January 2016.

I live locally with my husband and 2 Children, Sophia who goes to Burnham copse primary school and Ellie-Rose who comes to Impstone with me.

I am a qualified childcare practitioner and have worked in nurseries with 0-5yr olds since leaving college in 2005.  I also spent a short time working at a special needs school at the beginning of my career.

I enjoy socialising with my friends and spending time with my family, having fun days out, going away in our caravan and going on bike rides.

I am enthusiastic and excited to get to know your children and help them to learn and grow :)

Inclusion Officer - inc Speech Therapy & Behaviour Management

Hi, my name is Vickie. I live in Baughurst with my husband and four boys; you may regularly see my youngest, Toby, around the preschool setting!

I started working at Impstone in October 2014 and I am thoroughly enjoying my days at the preschool. Previously I was a paediatric nurse on the Special Care Baby Unit at the Royal Berkshire Hospital which I thoroughly enjoyed however I left to focus on my family.

I take great pride in working as part of a team and helping, along with the other team members, to give your child(ren) a positive, secure, fun and safe environment to help their future learning.

I am excited to be working with your family and I am always available if you need to discuss anything.

2 Year Lead Practitioner

Hi my name is Claire Keeley, I'm married and live in Pamber Heath with my husband and two boys aged 5 and 7, who both attend Burnham Copse Primary School.  I previously worked at Saplings Preschool at Burnham Copse for 18 months and have recently completed my level 3 childcare qualification (Oct 16).

In my free time I enjoy being with my family and spending time with my boys.  I play hockey for a local team and train once a week.  I also play badminton regularly with friends.

I am looking forward to working with a great team at Impstone and helping your children on their journey towards school:)

Health & Safety - Accident Officer

Hi my name’s Sam & I am currently studying & training for my NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare.

I have two children, Charlie who left Impstone Preschool to go to school in Sept 2014 & Neve who has been at preschool since Feb 15, and she has been coming into preschool with me since she was a few weeks old!

I began volunteering as a parent helper in 2012 & was Chairperson of the Parent Management Committee from September 2013 to July 2015.

I enjoy being outdoors walking my dog, gardening (weather permitting!) and doing activities with my family & friends.

My passion is learning through the element of play & I am a great believer in the written word; learning through books can open up a new world for a child, which is exciting to watch them developing.

When I first visited the preschool I felt welcomed & knew Charlie would be happy here, I hope you feel the same & I shall do all I can to ensure that your little person is as happy, comfortable & secure in our environment as possible.

Health & Safety Officer - Risk Assessor

Hi! I am Emma Field.  I started working for Impstone Preschool at the beginning of February 2014 and have really enjoyed my time so far!  I am looking forward to all the excitement they have to offer over the coming years, watching your children grow and learn.

I am a local lady and have lived in the Baughurst/Tadley area for most of my life, I was also educated in the local area. I have a young daughter called Leah who is my pride and joy and she also attends Impstone Preschool!

I am a vivacious, bubbly warm individual and love spending my time with my friends and my family.  I also enjoy a spot of gardening and love working on my garden in the sunshine.

I am very detailed and a thorough individual and will enthusiastically undertake any task given to me be it in the workplace or requests from friends and family. :-)))))))))))

Hello, I'm Jennifer Nash and I've been working here on and off for 3 years!  I started as an apprentice when I was 18, leaving for a year to have my baby boy Alfie.  I returned in April 2016 and am looking forward to starting on the learning path to gain my Level 3 qualification in Child Care. I also work at Tadley Swimming Pool as a lifeguard most evenings.

I used to play football but I've just currently given it up due to work commitments.

I love my food and animals, they are my soft spot.

My dad made brooms for Harry Potter as my Grandad was well known for making Beason Brooms before he passed away.

This is just a little bit about me, you're more than welcome to ask more about me if you want to :-)

I look forward to getting to know your child and your family!

We work closely with local schools and colleges, which means at times we will have Student Practitioners within the setting.  All of whom will be assessed for suitability and a dedicated mentor will be with them at all times during their assignment to our setting.

Our belief in learning doesnt stop as soon as a child moves on to 'big school'!

We truly believe learning is for life and we actively encourage all those that would like to learn in whatever way we can, no matter what their age!
